About the Internal Complaint Committee
Siddhant Senior College Ambapur (Sakri) is a co-educational institution that upholds the principle of equal opportunity, dignity, and respect for all. While striving to maintain a congenial and inclusive academic and professional environment, the college recognizes the importance of a formal redressal mechanism to address issues related to sexual harassment.
The college follows a Zero Tolerance Policy towards sexual harassment in any form.
Statutory Compliance
Siddhant Senior College Ambapur (Sakri) has constituted an Internal Complaints Committee (ICC) in accordance with:
- The Sexual Harassment of Women at Workplace (Prevention, Prohibition and Redressal) Act, 2013
- UGC Regulations, 2015 for Higher Educational Institutions
Scope & Responsibility of ICC
ICC addresses complaints involving:
- Unwelcome physical contact or advances
- Demand for sexual favours
- Sexually coloured remarks
- Verbal, non-verbal, or physical conduct of sexual nature
All complaints are handled promptly, fairly, and confidentially.
