Support for Differently-Abled Students
The college provides special facilities for differently-abled students to ensure quality education and to bring them into the mainstream of society.
These facilities are designed to support accessibility, mobility, learning comfort, and equal participation in academic and institutional activities.
Physical Infrastructure
Ramps and Railings
Ramps and hand railings provided near the main entrance for easy access. Railings on floor steps for additional support.
Wheelchair Facility
Wheelchair facility available on campus to facilitate mobility for disabled students.
Special Comforts
Toilets, restrooms, and classrooms are available on the ground floor to ensure easy access for students with mobility challenges.
Special Teaching / Learning Facilities
Scribe Facility & Examination Support
Guidelines as per Government Orders: E.D. 5 UNE 204 (05-03-2004) & E.D. 5 UNE 2004 (22-03-2004)
General Support
Students facing difficulty in writing are allowed to take the help of a scribe. Extra time is provided during examinations.
For Blind Students
- May select their own scribe.
- Scribe need not have qualification lower than that of the student.
- Extra time of 20 minutes per hour is provided.
For Hearing-Impaired Students
- Extra time of 20 minutes per hour is provided.
- Answer papers are identified separately and evaluated with additional care for language and grammar issues.
Reservation in Admission
Reservation is provided for differently-abled students. The admission process strictly follows University and Government guidelines to ensure fair representation.
