Academic Council
The Academic Council is the principal academic body of the college. It is responsible for all academic matters including academic staff, curriculum planning, instructional methods, student development, co-curricular activities, residence halls, discipline, and overall academic standards.
The Council ensures implementation of best academic practices and continuous improvement in teaching, learning, research, and institutional growth.
Functions & Responsibilities
Framing and revising curricula of all academic programs as per prescribed norms
Arranging teaching requirements for completion of academic programs
Making arrangements for conducting examinations
Recommending the Governing Council for conferment of degrees and academic titles
Supervising the functioning of the Central Library
Promoting research activities within the college
Collaborating with other academic institutions and industry
Creating a conducive environment for entrepreneurship development
Ensuring discipline among students
Facilitating and supervising co-curricular activities
Encouraging students through awards, scholarships, stipends, medals, and prizes
Guiding students in placement and training activities
Appointing academic committees and acting on their recommendations
Periodically appointing review committees for academic evaluation
Planning and executing overall academic growth and reporting to the Governing Council
